Jacks’ passion for wood craftsmanship continues today in our product and our factory. Our love for wood and knowledge of how it behaves helps us handcraft beautiful products that not only enhance your home, they also stand the test of time. We only use wood from the heart of the timber and only source our wood from ethically sustained forestry.
By using millimetre accurate machinery in our factory, we construct an engineered timber that is 60% stronger than a solid piece of wood. This prevents your door and window from twisting, warping or swelling and makes it longer lasting.
Once each piece has been crafted, our team work meticulously by hand to produce a finish that is of the highest standard. We use a Microporous paint system that protects the timber, giving it a smooth finish while allowing the wood to breathe.

Sustainability is important to us, we are committed to designing and installing both thermally efficient and environmentally friendly products. Our factory contributes to this by recycling in new ways, for example storing up sawdust, in the winter they use it to heat the factory, cutting our use of fossil fuels amongst other initiatives.
