Jack Brunsdon’s grandson designed the Cottage Casement with the traditional Cotswolds cottages in mind. He developed a window design with less wood and more glass to ensure cottages with small windows would benefit from as much light as possible.
Cottage Casement windows let approximately ten percent more light into the building. This is achieved by using slimmer sections to construct the frame and sashes and by removing the need for vertical mullions.
